Greenfields Academy is welcoming learners ages 5 through 17 (grades K-12) for the 2019-20 school year. Before applying, families should learn more about us by exploring our website and attending one of our events.
After you have attended an event and confirmed your interest in the Greenfields Academy community, please complete our online application, which includes a $50 application fee. Utilize the blue button on this page to begin. Please ensure you follow the link to apply for the correct school year.
Applicants for Elementary
Upon receiving your application, our staff will contact you directly to schedule a family meeting. This meeting will include the student, their parents, and members of the Greenfields staff. In this relaxed conversation, our staff will have the chance to learn about the unique qualities of your child and family. This is also an opportunity for us to answer your questions about our mission and values, as well as specifics of the day-to-day experience of a Greenfields education.
After a successful family meeting, we may invite your child to attend a “shadow day” in which he or she can experience our school first-hand and ensure they are ready and willing to be a self-directed learner and productive member of the Greenfields community.
Applicants for Middle or High School
Interested students will be asked to complete an online audition process which is designed to help them determine if the Greenfields Academy journey is right for them. This is a three-step process which includes learning about Greenfields, reflecting on their learning experiences to date, and testing their ability to take a stand on an ethical dilemma. This process will require several hours of effort.
Greenfields utilizes rolling admissions, so there is no final application deadline. Space is limited, however, so interested families are encouraged to apply as early as they are able. Start your child’s application by clicking on the button below.
Greenfields Academy values, respects, and benefits from the unique identity of each student and community member, regardless of age, ability, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status. As an intentional learning community we expect all faculty, staff, administrators, parents, and caregivers to embrace and foster this inclusiveness.
Financial Aid Applications
Those families who are interested in applying for need-based financial aid are encouraged to apply early for maximum availability of our limited financial aid funds. The financial aid application can be completed online via the TADS website at the same time as your school application.
